100% success rate. How to beat Biran and Yenke Ronso Biran and Yenke have a lot of HP and some deadly attacks but you can win! Here is a list of things you'll need before you start:
- Red Armlet: If you equip Kimahri with this, Kimahri won't be affected by Fire, Lightning or Ice attacks, which is useful since Biran and Yenke use Fire, Thunder and Blizzard spells quite a lot. (Note: Red Armlet won't always shield you from Fire/Thunder/Blizzard and won't provide any protection from water based spells. It's still useful to have though!)
- Overdrive: Make sure Kimahri's overdrive bar is filled, and that he has learned his Doom attack.
- Haste/Auto-Haste: The more turns you have in this battle the better. Casting Haste on Kimahri or using Auto-Hase is fine.
- Protect/Shell spells: If you haven't got a Red Armlet, make sure Kimahri knows a few White Magic spells. Protect will reduce how much damage Kimahri takes from physical attacks and and Shell will provide extra defence from magic attacks.
First of all caste Haste on Kimahri. This will give you time to use Protect and Shell as well.
Use your overdrive to use Doom on Biran/Yenke. Use this, and after the timer above Biran/Yenke's head reaches zero, it will automatically KO him!
When the two ronso are together will shield each other from your physical attacks. For example, if you try attack Yenke while he's standing next to Biran, Biran will dash forward take the damage in Yenke's place and visa versa.
When they use 'their' physical attack, it will separate them briefly so use this chance to attack them each. Re-caste Haste/Protect/Shell if it wears off and heal yourself when you need to.
When you get an overdrive again, make sure you use Doom on the next Ronso (Note: Remember to use Doom on both Biran AND Yenke!)
Once both Ronso warriors are KO'ed, you have won! Submitted by Sinead. 100% success rate. Airship Passwords Input the passwords below to unlock extra locations from the airship:

Easy Potions To get easy potions you steal the potions from the Guado guards when you fight Seymor for the first time in Lake Macalania. They always use auto potion so steal so they won't use auto potion any more! Submitted by Chinkgangsta. Lighting Dodging Prizes In the Thunder Plains, you can be rewarded with prizes for dodging the lightning bolts consecutively. The prizes are as follows:
- 5 times: Two X-Potions.
- 10 times: Two Mega-Potions.
- 20 times: Two MP Spheres.
- 50 times: Three Strength Spheres.
- 100 times: Three HP Spheres.
- 150 times: Four Megalixirs.
- 200 times: Venus Sigil.
Alternate Ultimate Weapons Once Rikku joins your party, you will be able to customise your weapons. Once you have 60 Dark Matters (which are quite rare!), go to the Customise menu. Scroll down the ability menu till you reach the Break Damage Limit ability. Add it to the weapon. Now you will able to do 99999 damage to a monster when you attack!
Here is a list of the ones you can get:
- Tidus: Excalibur.
- Yuna: Abraxas.
- Wakka: Grand Slam.
- Lulu: Soul of Mog.
- Auron: Heaven's Cloud.
- Rikku: Kaiser Knuckles.
- Kimahri: Gungir.
Note: Dark Matters are quite rare! Use them wisely! Submitted by Sinead. Beat Seymour Flux, Mortiorchis Seymour provides a much tougher challenge this time around. Tidus, Yuna and Kimahri all have Trigger Command option of talking to Seymour and raising their Strenth or Magic Defense. Use Tidus to cast Hastega, and have Yuna use her Protect spell on everyone. Seymour will occasionally cast Dispel on the whole group thus nullifying your hard work. Seymour's Cross Cleave attack can deplete over 2500 HP from each party member! Howerver those covered with the Protect spell will only take half the damage. Seymour concentrates on a pattern of eliminating characters individually. He will use Lance of Atrophy to inflict Zombie on a character. On his next turn, he will cast Full-life to deplete the character's HP. You only have one turn between both of Seymour's attacks, so use it to administer a Holy Water to the afflicted character. Also, try to Silence Seymour so he can't cast any spells, and don't forget to use bio. When the Mortiorchis begins to charge up the Total Annihilation attack, it will perform it in two or three turns. One of your characters needs to perform an attack that will reduce all of Mortiorchis's HP (4000). This causes the chariot to siphon more life from Seymour and delays the attack somewhat. It's best to bring in Auron and Lulu at this stage of the fight. Seymour also starts using Flare spells, so cast Shell and Protect on your party members. After surviving Total Annihilation attack, quickly use a Mega-Potion to recover. This is when you can start summoning your aeons to help finish off Seymour. Each aeon will only get one chance to attack before Seymour kills them off, so make sure they are in Overdrive mode! Even with all these pointers, there is still a certain element of luck to surviving this battle. Make sure your characters are all adequately protected between each of Seymour's turns. Make sure all of your characters are also in Overdrive mode. Submitted by qharperharper. Celestial Weapon hint Tidus's, Wakka's, Rikku's and Kihmari's Celestials are more powerful the closer the max HP the character is.
The same goes for Yuna and Lulu, but with MP.
Auron's weapon's power increases the closer he is to KO. Submitted by crashacenbullshit. Final Fantasy X game description:
Final Fantasy X is the first title in this landmark RPG series to be released for the PlayStation 2. The main characters are Tidus, a star of blitzball (a hugely popular sport in the Final Fantasy universe) and Yuna, who has learned the art of summoning and controlling aeons, powerful spirits of yore. These two people of different backgrounds must work together as they journey through the world of Spira. This instalment of Final Fantasy has a distinctly Asian influence, bringing a fresh feel to the characters, music, settings, and story.
Features include voice-overs for the first time in the series (utilising the "Facial Motion System"), high polygon, motion-captured player characters designed by Tetusya Nomura, and a camera that automatically adjusts its perspective to correspond with the movements of the characters, a feature now possible due to the title now being largely polygonal. Developer: Squaresoft. Publisher: Sony. European release date: 24th May 2002. See our affiliate website, nGaming, for reviews and message forums for Final Fantasy X on the Sony PlayStation 2. |
