How to Get Team Members

• To get Pau give him a carrot after saving Dhigura village.
• To get granny Rosa go to max's mansion and find her, then talk to her and type: "Let's go together.".
• To get Gerald get a Belt trigger or upgrade a gun to that level (a dryer gun can be that and a trumpet gun).
• To get Stewart get 3000 gild and give it to him.
• To get Milane upgrade your sword two times.
• To get Olivie win the Finzy Frenzie at either of levels.
• To get Fabio catch a fish 60cm. big. Tip: Use petite fish as bait.
• To get Rufio take a picture of the moon and give it to him.
• To get the firbits, beat the rainbow butterfly.
• To get Ferdinand buy a 'Roasted Chestnut' in future Sindain and give it to him.

Fish Stats
The following foods/bait improve your fishes stats:

• Prickly = Tenacity.
• Mimi = Endurance.
• Evy = Stamina.
• Carrot = Changes fish gender.
• Potato cake = Stamina.
• Minon = Boost.
• Batton = Tenacity.
• Petite fish = Endurance.

Name-change Ticket Trick
In most cases, the Name-Change Ticket only changes the name of a weapon. If you enter the name of another weapon in the game however, the ticket will actually tranform the old item. This method allows players to obtain the most powerful weapons earlier than is possible in the game and without having to build the weapon from scratch. To perform this trick, follow these steps:

1. Recruit Mayor Need and purchase tickets (costs 40 medals each).
2. Select an unequipped weapon in the menu and choose the option Change name.
3. Replace the old name with the name of the weapon you want to obtain. Make sure to follow correct case, spelling, spacing, etc. when applicable or it will not work. Press OK after you are done and the item will transform. Here are some of the common name choices for this trick:
   Max weapons: LEGEND, Grade Zero, Supernova, Sigma Bazooka, Last Resort.
   Monica weapons: Five-Star Armlet, Island King, Dark Cloud, Muramasa, Griffon Fork, Chronicle 2.

Easy Level Up
Take one of your strong characters (i.e., most health, strongest weapon) but not the Ridepod, and go to a dungeon that you can get minimal damage done to you. Kill the enemy with your strong person, and immediately afterwards, press L3 to switch characters or R3 to switch to the Ridepod. This is especially useful when trying to build up the Ridepod since he loses fuel easily. This makes it so he does not move or get hurt.

Duplicate Lures
Once you have a lure rod and 2 two of the same lure (available in chapter 4 after you've recruited Olive), you can duplicate it as many times as you want. Just equip the lure rod and a lure. Then press R2 so you will have Monica displayed instead of Max. Now select the same lure and equip it as many times as you want, it will seem nothing will have happened, but you will now have multiple lures equiped and still have the one in the menu. Once you remove the lures you can have up to 999 lures (don't go over 999 or it will reset the number to whatever you had before you did it) then you can sell them all for a lot of money.

How to Get Two of Monica's Ultimate Swords
The two Ultimate Weapons are CHRONICLE 2 and ISLAND KING. You begin with LONG SWORD. First you'll have a choice of two.

Choose the one that is on the bottom (you shoold have BROAD SWORD). Then pick the top one again and you should have SAX.

Again pick the top one. You shoold end up having RAVE ARK. Then keep on picking the down one until you hit CHRONILE 2.

That is one of the Ultimate Weapons. Then get the next sword, which is ISLAND KING, the strongest weapon Monica has.

Defeating Bats
In a level where you have to defeat all enemies with only Max's wrench or Monica's sword for a medal, you can kill the Bats easily by using Max's or Monica's charge up attacks.

Giant Kaji
Fishing for Giant Kaji: Fish at the location where the Shigura were using the Lure Rod and the Minnow.

Fishing Tournament
When looking for a big fish to win the fishing contest, equip the Lure Rod and put on the Fork Lure. Then, go to the hot springs in Reim Hamma (where you build the Georamma, there is a small place to the side). Wait until 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., then cast your lure into the hot springs. It might take a while, but you can catch a big fish that always weighs over 5,100. You will also get a hefty 300 FP for it.

Defeating Holloween
When you throw a bomb back at Holloween and he falls over, switch with Ride Pod and hit him. It only takes a few hits to defeat him.

Saving Money
Use the following trick to save Money when escaping dungeons. When you have 1000 Gilda or more, make sure to talk to Conda and buy as many gold bars as possible. Since they buy/sell for the same price, you can get your money back whenever needed. If you run out of Escape Powder, you can escape the dungeons and lose a lot less money.

Badges and Elements
For some of the badges you can choose one or more monster but once you've got the badge for one you can't get a badge for another monster of the same element so be careful which you choose. Remember not all monsters have monster badges.
